Is Rational Optimism a Folly of Gen Z? Understand Rational optimism and distinct lives of Gen Z.

No. Gen X and Millennials have had a really hard time working during and after world wars and still getting nothing much out of it. For them, Gen Z's resistance to being stuck in a 9-to-5 and dreaming of a better world out there is total madness and are sign of ignorance. Fact: That's not true!

Where did it all started and why Gen Z(ers) like you and me are stuck in a find for Optimistic Positivity?

I am a middle-class person like most of you aspirational Gen Z. I don't know (or I am not meant to know) about the whole world but, I've always had a gut feeling that the world does not need to be this:

• hard

• cruel

• confusing

• meaningless

• pessimistic

"I firmly believe that world is much free(er), better, optimistic, rational, full of beauty and positive vibes."

As you have all experienced and by now know by gut feeling, that if I said the above statement out loud then people for sure will think 'I have lost my mind', 'My parents haven't introduced me to the reality yet' or even better 'I have not seen the worst yet'.

As a neutral and logical generation I rationally ask, "Correct me where am I wrong because I can explain what I say.", I never see a rational answer coming from the other side. Instead a world famous quote is quoted onto me, "Everyone has a plan, until they get punched in the face."

The Reality, the Problem and the Goal

Reality is that world is now much more better-off in context of a 'man's actions and its consequences.'

Let me explain in simple terms, During and after the industrial revolution after world-wars ended, the workers set out their early teens working with great ambitions and big dreams but, (due to very long un-regulated capitalist's greedy policies and meager wage payments world wide that) even after lifetime of working most of them weren't even able to afford a basic house.

Problem is that from here itself born the 'ultimate pessimistic world' theories where the Millennials and Gen X truly believed in for something they suffered in the circumstances that now does not produce the same outcome as in their time.

Goal or Dream of the Gen Z is not to argue to previous generations about what world really is but, our aspirational minds and optimistic energies are much better used for working hard and make these generations bring 'Our vision, Our gut feelings, Our 6th Senses' - The Real World to life. To make them see the better world, better future and feel with all their senses.

The Goal is to make them re-introduce the world that which has now changed a lot, much much long ago! And they now need not be dwelling in those horrible pasts.

Let me make you understand a Reality of Now

The WORLD has really changed now, the opportunities are bigger than ever, the possibilities are richer than ever, people are free(er) than ever, the world peace is highest its ever been and the global trade is more phenomenal than ever.

More people are getting richer than ever. More people are leading happier families than ever. More people are connecting, opening up and sharing their problems mor than ever. The very element of human civilization is changing as a whole.

We - the Gen Z - are gifted with the Tolerance to take disappointments head on and still not give up, Maturity to sympathize what has previous generations have gone to through, Wit to join the dots and understand the reality and Openness and Valor to leave this world - a Better Place than We were Born in.

Thank You for reading this far to a mad boy. And I understand that sometimes life hits hard with brick on your head but, is it the end of the world? Can it be the reason we give up?
